Dexter had his mother’s shape and his father’s coloring and Patsy had the opposite, and (as I understand it), orange tabbies are the male equivalent of a calico–calicos are always female, and the males are always orange.
So, with that in mind, a calico and a grey tabby were bound to end up with an orange cat or two.
I would love to go to Maine and hang out with you, but after my recent spending, it is impossible. It will have to wait for another time.
